# Sign In, Password Reset, and Account Security in Prvaha

> Sign in to Prvaha with Phone, Email, or Google, reset your password with an email verification code, and keep your clinic account secure.

Your Prvaha account is the gateway to your clinic's appointments, patient records, and team workflows. Keeping it secure protects not just your practice data, but also the sensitive health information of every patient you serve. This page walks you through signing in, registering a new clinic, resetting your password, and following the best practices that keep your account safe.

## Signing in

To access your Prvaha dashboard, go to [prvaha.com/auth/login](https://prvaha.com/auth/login). You have three ways to sign in:

* **Phone** — Enter your registered phone number. Prvaha sends a one-time password (OTP) to that number; enter the code to complete sign-in.
* **Email** — Enter your registered email address and password.
* **Google** — Click **Continue with Google** and authenticate with your Google account. No separate Prvaha password is required.

Choose the method that matches how your account was originally set up.

<Tip>
  Use **Continue with Google** for the fastest and most secure sign-in experience. Google's built-in two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of protection to your Prvaha account at no extra effort.
</Tip>

## Registering a new clinic

If your clinic is not yet on Prvaha, go to [prvaha.com/auth/register/clinic](https://prvaha.com/auth/register/clinic) to create an account. You can register using:

* **Email OTP** — Enter your email address; Prvaha sends a one-time password to verify it. Once confirmed, fill in your clinic name, contact details, and specialty to complete registration.
* **Google** — Click **Continue with Google** to pre-fill your name and email automatically, then complete the clinic details form.

After registration, you will be taken directly to your Prvaha dashboard where you can configure your clinic profile and start inviting team members.

## Forgot your password

If you cannot remember your password, click the **Forgot password?** link on the [login page](https://prvaha.com/auth/login), or go directly to [prvaha.com/auth/forgot-password](https://prvaha.com/auth/forgot-password).

<Steps>
  <Step title="Enter your email address">

  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter the verification code">

  </Step>

  <Step title="Set your new password">

  </Step>
</Steps>

If you still need help after trying the above, contact [hello@prvaha.com](mailto:hello@prvaha.com).

## Updating your profile

To update your personal details — such as your display name, contact information, or medical specialty — navigate to **Dashboard > Profile**. Make your changes and save. Keeping your profile up to date ensures that colleagues and patients see accurate information throughout the platform.

## Inviting team members

Never share a single Prvaha login across multiple people. Instead, give every doctor, nurse, and administrator their own account. To add a team member:

1. Go to **Dashboard > Users**.
2. Click **New User**.
3. Enter the team member's name, email address, and role.
4. Send the invitation — they will receive an email to set up their own credentials.

Each person signs in independently, which means actions are logged to the right individual and you can remove access instantly if someone leaves the practice.

<Warning>
  Never share your Prvaha credentials with anyone — not even a colleague you trust. Shared logins prevent accurate activity tracking, weaken your clinic's security posture, and may violate data protection obligations. Every team member must have their own account.
</Warning>

## Best practices for account security

Follow these habits to keep your clinic's account secure:

* **Use a strong, unique password.** Choose a password you do not use on any other site. A mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols works best. Consider using a password manager to generate and store it.
* **Never share your credentials.** If a colleague needs access, invite them as a separate user (see above).
* **Log out on shared or public computers.** After finishing your session on any device that others can access, sign out of Prvaha completely before walking away.
* **Keep your registered phone and email up to date.** OTP-based sign-in and password resets rely on your contact details being current. Update them promptly in **Dashboard > Profile** if they change.
* **Review your preferences regularly.** Visit **Dashboard > Preferences** to check notification and access settings, and adjust them as your team or clinic workflows evolve.
